Once the program had been chosen, discussed and adopted during two fruitful and pleasant meetings with Claire from India and You, as soon as we arrived in Dehli, all we had to do was let ourselves go, taking full advantage of the various visits and encounters along the way.

The organization, timing, travel and visits proved to be perfectly coordinated, and we are fully satisfied with the services offered by India and You and its local partner. The residences are all of the highest quality in terms of rooms, staff and cuisine. We realized how carefully Claire chose the hotels and people she visited and met beforehand. Everywhere, we enjoyed the Indian cuisine with its thousand spices.

After a few very interesting days in Dehli, we discovered Varanasi and its banks of the Ganges, where our invaluable English-speaking guide introduced us to the meanings of Hindu rites and practices in a very fine, personal and well-documented way. What powerful and beautiful impressions he gave us. We were able to visit Kiran Village, an NGO that runs an exemplary training center including an inclusive school for children with learning difficulties linked to various types of trauma. We met some wonderful people there.

Then, our 3 weeks in Rajasthan were a succession of fabulous discoveries of the architectural treasures of the towns we visited, with unforgettable contacts, particularly during our visit to the NGO Vatsalaya, its school, its formative activities with the women and its Science Center. The days spent in Shapura Bagh enabled us to visit a more rural village, while enjoying privileged contact with the owners of a magnificent resting place. Each day brought its share of wonder, questioning and dialogue with our French-speaking guide and driver, both of whom were exceptional and in whom we had complete confidence.

We can fully recommend India and You for offering this opportunity to visit NGOs on site, and we thank Claire for her attentive follow-up and personalized service.
After this first trip, we would be willing to travel a little more simply by choosing hotels of a slightly lower class than those we were offered.

Our first meeting with the India&You Agency at the Ferien Messe in Bern gave us an immediate feeling of confidence.

Claire put together a program of 11 days in Kerala and 13 days in North India in October 2023.

We really enjoyed our ayurvedic stay at the Nikkis Nest, where we were also able to meet and share this experience with Claire on site. Of particular note was the excellent and very friendly driver Vishnu who accompanied us during our stay in Kerala. We really enjoyed the hotels, private yoga classes and activities.

The rest of our stay in Rajasthan was equally full of surprises and encounters. The choice of charming and more upscale hotels suited us very well (with a particular fondness for the magnificent Shahpura Bagh property). However, some activities were a little too touristy for our taste, such as the Ranthambore safari (far too crowded). For a future experience, we'd like to opt for activities such as the bike tour in Jaipur at 6:30 am, an incredible souvenir and a visit to the NGO Vatsalya Society for Children. Likewise, we would have liked more hiking. We were very satisfied with India & You's supervision, the privileged contact with Claire, the quality of the English- and French-speaking guides, and the confidence we felt with our two drivers.

This trip will remain in our hearts!

For a long time we imagined a trip to India out of our reach for various reasons. But the call was there and we just had to go. Once we'd taken the plunge and got our plane tickets, the vertigo set in. Our first stop was planned to be at the foot of the Himalayas, to learn about yoga. What to do next? That's when we discovered India & You and had our first contact with Claire. And we immediately sensed that this was no ordinary travel agency. The program that Claire and her team had concocted for us promised some wonderful discoveries. A visit to an NGO (Vatsalya), for example, was a first for us. As soon as we arrived in Delhi, we were greeted by Claire herself and our driver Sanjay. After that, everything went according to plan, with the discovery of exceptional places and people. The scents, the colors, the palaces, the organized bazaar, the gastronomy, the people... what a wonderful country! Overall, we were lucky with the weather, despite the monsoon. The overnight stays were all magnificently well organized. Particularly the Samode Haveli, a real maharaja's palace in the middle of Jaipur. Sanjay was more of a companion than a driver for us, and we recommend him with our eyes closed. The visits and activities planned throughout our short trip enabled us to meet some beautiful people. And these people had nothing but praise for Claire! We felt that Claire was not just a business relationship, but rather a member of the family!

So a word of advice: go with your eyes closed and let Claire and her team guide you!

On April 16, 2022 we started our honeymoon, which lasted about 2.5 months. As a first destination we have chosen a very unknown country for us.
Through Rita from India & You, we were very well prepared for the upcoming trip. Rita and Claire organized us an unforgettable trip through South India Kerala as well as Delhi in the north with the Taj Mahal. Each excursion was always planned with enough time and everything always fit together perfectly. Also with the guides and drivers we did not have to struggle, because everything was perfectly planned in advance.
When we arrived in Trivandrum, we first experienced a real tropical rain. Our driver Vishnu said, this was a good omen.
Vishnu welcomed us warmly and so our adventure could finally begin. The two weeks with our guide Ajaj and the driver Vishnu were very impressive and we got to know India with all its facets. Whether it was the wonderful and beautiful hotel facilities or the real India. We got to know the local traditions and people very closely, which was very exciting for us and also very informative with all the wisdom of life.
After a wonderful experience in the south, we were travelling to North India. Our guide Umakant, an Indian who is very familiar with the German language, showed us the legendary Taj Mahal and Delhi from his point of view and with definitely very detailed historical background. A guide through and through ;-)
Thus, we were able to experience simply wonderful and unforgettable moments and are very grateful for all these impressions. We will always remember this trip with pleasure.

As I suddenly have a period of several weeks off, I contacted Rita from India & You to see what were the possibilities to go to India to recharge my batteries and take a break. Her proposal to go to Kerala for an Ayurvedic cure was immediately obvious to me.
I left at the beginning of December, just as Omicron was emerging. India & You accompanied me in the preparation of the trip, including the administrative aspects in this uncertain environment.
Once there, I had a very nice experience at Nikki's Nest: a caring and attentive service. I met beautiful people. This first step in India is an invitation to maybe go back one day and the discovery of Ayurveda: a gift.
I thank Claire and Rita for their very personalized accompaniment, very attentive to my needs. Also during the trip and also afterwards to share the experience and the memories.

Last October 2021, I finally went to India, in the state of Kerala!! My itinerary was organized by the Travel Agency India & You. I stayed at Ayur Bethaniya in Thrissur for ayurvedic treatments. My experience was great, excellent treatments with professional medical staff. The hospital is situated in an oasis of greeny and medicinal plant, and coconuts, banana trees, birds and butterflies to spot.
I want to say thank you to India & You, they made my trip possible and wonderful during Covid 19 restrictions. They followed me during the stay in Thrissur and they were also present at every step of my trip.
I will always be grateful for your professionalism, care, and attention. Thank you so much!

Thank you Claire for the 2 wonderful weeks we spent in Kerala. This trip was truly magical.
We went as a family with our children aged 4, 7 and 9, the children as well as the parents marvelled every day at everything we discovered. The children loved sleeping in the trees at the hotel, taking care of the elephants and walking in the forest to discover the fauna and flora.
This trip allowed us to spend beautiful moments as a family, discovering together all that India has to offer: its kindness, its hospitality, its culture and its colors.

An experience that must be lived, woven thread by thread, like a rare Rajasthan silk. A piece each time unique, of which India & you are probably the only ones who inderstands its mystery. Hello Claire,

My trip to India and particularly to the heart of the Himalayas will remain for me an adventure, a unique experience. There was my arrival in India in Delhi at night, with the discovery the next day of this city, of these people in this humid heat and its smells, of this well "ordered" chaos; the decor was "planted"!

Then, it is the departure by train to the north where little by little the environment is transformed, Hindu temples give way to Buddhist temples. Incredible roads are replacing the rails. These roads that lead us to the sky, these spectacular landscapes full of contrasts and colors.

Whether in this natural setting or inside these monasteries, I really enjoyed discovering them in your precious company, your knowledge and your sensitivity to the culture of this country that only strengthened my positive thoughts! And without forgetting, of course, the knowledge of our Indian guide.

Of course, my trip was also the visit of the sumptuous mausoleum of the Taj Mahal in Agra, or the temple of Krishna... testimonies of India and its different religions. Or the change of guard at Amritsar, on the Indo-Pakistani border where I saw the fervour of the Indians for their country. India is also about its smiling and caring people. It is also, somewhere, Gandhi, whose visit to his final resting place touched me.

A word about accommodation: from beautifully luxurious hotels to the simplest, depending on the places we crossed. It was perfect for me.

Claire from India & You was a great help in organizing my trip to Goa. 10 days before my departure, the first 3 days accommodation of my stay were missing. Travelling alone, I was very worried and Claire has listened to me with patience and kindness. She found me a very nice, peaceful hotel by the sea in Goa but above all a trusted guide who came to pick me up at the airport, took me on a tour of the region and accompanied me to my yoga retreat that I had booked on my side.

Claire is kind and share easily her love for India to us. She was very present during my departure, sent me the photo of the guide so that I could recognize her at the airport and was regularly in touch with me during my trip.

After Nepal and Bhutan, Tibet was obvious to us. We entrusted our wishes and requirements to Claire, who took care of making this trip our trip.
Everything was perfect and went the way we had dreamed, even more, since the beauty of the Tibetan highlands has completely hypnotized us and the kindness of the Tibetan people conquered. Thanks to Claire from India-and-You for the organization, she was very attentive and very professional.

We travelled to India with our two children, aged 10 and 12, in the spring of 2018. Thanks to Claire and Shushil, this has been a wonderful journey, well beyond anything we could have imagined. The places we visited, as well as the activities we engaged into allowed our children and ourselves to have a fantastic time. This was done in a spirit of complete trust, as we were travelling with a driver and a guide. We developed a great relationship with our guide whose discreet presence, pleasant personality and in-depth knowledge of India and its people enriched our trip. In each city, guides were chosen with great care. We met some very special people throughout our journey. India, a country with endless faces, countless gods, cordiality and wonderful colours!
And no matter what you imagine, India will surprise you and the encounters with its people will touch you. Already during the first trip that India & You organized for me, I could discover all this. The uniqueness of the people in Rajasthan, the fabrics of the glowing saris and the filigree havelis that can be found in Jaisalmer touched me deeply.
Two years later I made another trip to India with India & You. During this trip I could discover the green forests, miles of beaches and winding backwaters of Kerala. Another unforgettable journey with wonderful moments and encounters, which I was able to experience thanks to India & You.

A thousand things could be said about this amazing country, yet it is almost indescribable. You just need to live it!

It can all be summed up in two words: INCREDIBLE INDIA.

It is a country like no other. Wherever you look, you'll see a land of compelling contrasts.

India is particularly striking to someone like me, who loves creating visual content. The two weeks I spent there with India & You were fantastic, although there wasn't enough time to discover all the wonders this country has to offer! There are so many incredible sights to see.  
This is a place to visit at least once in a lifetime. I will definitely go back!

India, what could we say about India? Or should I say, what couldn't we say about India?

To tell the truth, this was not my preferred destination, for a part of me had always been afraid to be confronted with the misery that India usually brings to mind. Indeed, this confrontation has left its mark, but the discovery of the richness of India has left an even deeper mark. A richness of colours, savours, architecture, art, nature, spirituality and humanity. Looking at people, I sometimes felt as though I was looking at a human tropical forest. In a tropical forest, one's gaze gets lost in the maze of unusual shapes and colours of vegetals. Well, in India, human diversity is such, in appearance as well as in behaviour, that our gaze loses itself in an ocean of things to see.

These two weeks spent in India were absolutely unique to me, and I discovered a whole new universe. Given a choice, I wouldn't exchange my adventure in India for any other.

I had the opportunity to travel to Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and Kerala with India & You in September 2017. In Switzerland, I was welcomed by Claire, who accompanied me to India where I met Sushil. They both took care of me with such sensitivity and consideration, that they turned every moment of the trip into a fabulous experience.

Used to travelling alone, I enjoyed each and every encounter they planned for me. Their tact added to their desire to satisfy my every wish made this trip magical. I had been dreaming about it for a very long time......I finally did it, but I was light years away from imagining such enchantment, such magic! I was absolutely blown away.

A friend of mine, who lives in India, recommended India & You for the organisation of my first trip there, and I will never regret it: everything was perfect, from the moment I arrived at the airport to the moment I returned home.

My stay in Kerala started with an Ayurvedic treatment at an amazing and luxuriant location on the Arabian sea, complete with medical assistance, yoga centre and meditation. 

The following week, I discovered Rajasthan, Jaipur, Agra and the Taj Mahal, and finally Dehli in the company of an outstanding guide who depicted his India like a Thousand and One Nights tale.

Not only did I discover this magnificent country through its sites, landscapes, food, treatments for the body and the soul, but I also discovered myself: this hidden light inside of me struggling to shine through.
I was accompanied all along by incredibly nice people, so caring and helpful in every way possible.
This country is magical and exudes a unique and serene atmosphere; I felt as though I had been transported to another world.
